No pitcher won more games in the 1970s than Jim Palmer. The 6 time all star and 4 time golden glove winner is also the only man to win a world series game in 3 different decades. He has 3 world series rings. He won 268 games in the show, Posting EIGHT 20 win seasons.
Palmer was a horse completing 211 starts. He had a 2.86 ERA for his career and 2.61 in the post season. 2.83 is the third lowest career ERA of any pitcher in the live ball era.
He made a bizarre comeback attempt in the 90's and has served as a broadcaster in his post playing days. Cooperstown came calling for Palmer in 1990.
Anthony Leonelli is a 37 year old College Baseball Coach and amateur baseball arguer. If you wanna know how this list came together check here criteria. He thinks that George Brett winning batting titles in 3 decades is pretty awesome.
