Adrian Beltre came up in 1998 which was my freshman year of high school he played until 2018 when I found out I was having a kid. So you'll excuse me if I felt like I woke up one day and Adrian Beltre was a Hall of Fame caliber player. I had stuff going on and his career snuck up on me. Doing the research for this project I realized just how good this guy was for how long.
Four 30 home run seasons, another 40 home run season, a .286 lifetime average. Five gold gloves. Only 4 All Star teams but he also played in the AL the same time as Alex Rodriguez so third base could be a tough situation - in his early career he moved around a bit although always through free agency. The Dodgers to the Mariners to the Red Sox briefly, before he found his home in Texas. All things being equal he might be the greatest Texas Ranger of all time.
A wildly entertaining player with a cannon of an arm, a huge swing, and an infectious enthusiasm. A lot of people didn't see him much because of playing in Texas.
He is the first player from the Dominican Republic to get to 3000 hits, and the all time hits leader among third baseman. Adrian Beltre belongs, and is a shoe in for Cooperstown when the time comes.
Anthony Leonelli is a 37 year old College Baseball Coach and amateur baseball arguer. If you wanna know how this list came together check here criteria. He thinks that George Brett winning batting titles in 3 decades is pretty awesome.
