#94 Orlando Cepeda

Orlando Cepeda
1B/OF
1958-1974
11 Time All Star, 1 MVP, Rookie of the Year
Baseball Hall of Fame

Having a cool nickname doesn't score you points on this list, but if it did..."The Baby Bull" would be worth about 10 spots. Orlando Cepeda put up some big time power numbers in a big time pitching era including his MVP season in 1967. He also ended his career with a .297 career average, a few hanging around seasons keeping him from a .300 average.

He burst onto the scene in 1958 winning the Rookie of the Year award. Protection for Willie Mays in the Giants lineup he spent the bulk of his career in San Francisco, not a favorable hitters park. He was traded to the Cardinals where he won the 1967 MVP and lead them to a world series title.

He reinvented himself late in his career as the first DH in Boston Red Sox history and is remembered as a feared power hitter in his era. He got his call to Cooperstown in 1999 and is one of the most decorated Puerto Rican players in history. He belongs there and he belongs here in the top 100.

Anthony Leonelli is a 37 year old College Baseball Coach and amateur baseball arguer. If you wanna know how this list came together check here criteria. He thinks that George Brett winning batting titles in 3 decades is pretty awesome.
